My practice in Arlington,Mindful Solutions, LLC, is hiring! One position is a clinical psychologist, licensed in Virginia, to conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations of children, teens, and adults. This position may either be part time or full time, depending on the interests of the candidate. The person must have a PhD or PsyD from an accredited institution, and an APA accredited internship. They must already be licensed in Virginia. Experience administering tests of intelligence, achievement, and personality is required. Interest in or a willingness to receive training in the ADOS-2 and other measures of autism is desirable. If the psychologist wishes to be full-time, they may also choose to do individual therapy, groups, and consultation.
The second position is for a licensed mental health professional. This position will begin part time but expand to full-time with in the first year. This candidate can either be a licensed psychologist, LCSW, LPC, or LMF tea in Virginia. This position involves conducting child and family therapy. Experience in or strong interest in working with young children and their parents is necessary. We see many young children in the practice, and we do a lot of parent coaching. Thus, training in these areas is highly desirable. But we can augment training if the person has a strong interest. The person in this position will be expected to do individual therapy with children, parent coaching, and social skills groups for children and teens.
